My Cyber Academy for the US (MyCyberAcademy.US) is an depth cybersecurity program to help fill the 500,000+ jobs in cybersecurity. It is the spin-off of an NSA funded grant through the National Centers of Academic Excellence in Cybersecurity which helped over 1,000 citizens, over 70% US Veterans and active military, achieve in-depth skills in forenics, cloud and AI security. We are releasing the top three programs in 2025, with more to follow in 2026. While this program is not funded nor endorsed by those agencies, it is made of the same founding faculty from universities and business members across the United States.

How are you trained?
48 Hours of Live Virtual Instruction per course
Each course is 48 hours of live instruction with an instructor who has experience as a college instructor and has at least a Master's degree in the field. Classes are held twice a week for three hours per session. Each session is approximately 1 hour of lecture and 2 hours of guided lab time. Each course is 8 weeks long. Each class is also recorded so that you can review the material again later or watch a session you may have needed to miss due to family, work, or health related issues.
45+ Hours of Virtual Labs per course
We have partnered with the world's best companies to provide virtual, not simulated, not theoretical, but virtual connections to the real equipment. These labs qualify for on the job (OTJ) training requirements in most if not all States for apprenticeship and department of labor requirements.
Five 8-week classes per certificate
Each cybersecurity certificate consists of five courses. In between courses is a two-week break, with a four-week break in the winter. This format allows trainees to complete the program in one year or less. It also allows for trainees to easily join at five different times per year and pause when needed to rejoin a later cohort as life changes.
What is the cost?
Out of pocket cost per course is $1,995
As a non-profit, CWS-US strives to keep the cost low. At $1,995 the cost is comparable to the cost of a course at a community college and 1/5th the cost of a private for-profit training company. As there are five courses in a certificate path the total cost is potentially as high as $9,975. There are no hidden fees, books, or other charges. All costs, including a live instructor are included.
However, as a non-profit, we also seek grant funds to help cover these costs for trainees wherever possible. We have a dedicated customer relationship team working to fund 100 veterans over the 2026 calendar year and we have multiple partners with whom we seek grants from federal, state and private entities.
