Tired of the time it takes to implement new courses meeting industry needs?
CWS-US was formed in 2023 as spin-off from a formal collaboration of 4 universities in 3 States. Several of the principal investigators, staff and faculty from those grants created this non-profit in response to a request by the grantors the National Centers for Academic Excellence in Cybersecurity further funded by the National Security Agency. However the history of those partnerships started in a Department of Labor grant through one community college which helped over 22,000 gain employment in IT in three years, and then spurred further into shorter term training in cybersecurity by the Indiana Governor's Executive Council for Cybersecurity. We strive to fill the ~500,000 open jobs in cybersecurity as well as promote more students entering STEM and technical fields.
Digital Equity Workshops
Technology should be accessible to all. Digital Equity training is for Youth 16-21 and working adults to obtain a path employment first AND a degree along the way.
